For the first time renowned choreographer Remo D’Souza has teamed up with choreographer Mukti Mohan and singers Asees Kaur, Badal and Nakash Aziz to bring to you the ultimate peppy number 'Moj Pe Moj’.

 

The track is the brand song for short video platform Moj and is getting released on ii Music. It will feature over 30 influencers including Remo D’Souza Mukti Mohan and Dharmesh. It's an upbeat and high-spirited number that will blend well with the current festive and freedom spirit post lockdown.

 

The theme of the song is super fun, catchy and energetic which resonates perfectly with the season’s mood. Talented playback singer Nakash Aziz, known for songs like ‘Gandi Baat’ and ‘Sari Ke Fall Sa’, has collaborated with Asees Kaur, famous for her melodious songs such as ‘Bolna’ from ‘Kapoor & Sons’, ‘Ve Mahi’ from ‘Kesari’, to create this groovy single, ‘Moj Pe Moj’.

    Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s leading public sector bank, today launched a tech-based loan management solution called PNB LenS - The Lending Solution, to speed-up and maintain accuracy in online loan processing and sanctioning of credit proposals. Post-merger, it was paramount to have a stringent loan management solution, which can be used for activities related to lead capturing, loan appraisal, sanction, and documentation. PNB started development/customization of an IT-based solution PNB LenS - The Lending Solution for loan management. It facilitates field functionaries in uniform and consistent appraisal methodology to improve due diligence standards. The main purpose behind the PNB LenS is to standardize the system, process and appraisal formats for loan processing, speed up the process of credit sanctions, auto-generate loan documents for each type of credit facilities, reduce delay, cost, and human errors involved in manual processing, digital record maintenance, security & data privacy, and ready to use monitoring and MIS reports for better tracking and transparency. Hon’ble Minister of Power launches ‘Green Charcoal Hackathon’

  Shri R K Singh, Hon’ble Minister (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, was speaking with a vision to create a conducive environment by reducing carbon emissions and nurture technology solutions in India. NVVN (NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam), a wholly-owned subsidiary company of NTPC Ltd, today launched the Green Charcoal Hackathon. Speaking on the occasion, Shri R K Singh, Hon’ble Minister (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, said, “The Hackathon displays the spirit of innovation, which pervades NTPC. Any organisation has to have this spirit of innovation to grow and prosper or otherwise, it would fade away.  I am sure that the NTPC management has told all young engineers that innovation and new ideas are encouraged.” He added, “This (Hackathon) is also innovation in the pursuit of reducing our carbon footprint. From that point of view, all competitors in the Hackathon should keep in mind that the process of converting this (agro residue) to charcoal should not lead to emissions. Another key thing is the commercial model, which will depend on the cost of both the machine and charcoal production. I am sure we will come out with a machine which economical. I am happy to see the orientation of NTPC towards reducing carbon foot print.”     To fast-track the technology development, NVVN, in partnership with EESL organises technology challenge aptly named as Green Charcoal Hackathon. The purpose of the event is to leverage the innovative Indian mind to bridge the technology gap, with the prime objective to clean the air by eliminating farm fire, producing renewable energy out of the agro residue, to promote local entrepreneurship, and to increase the income of the farmers.     Shri Ashish Upadhyay, Additional Secretary of Power said, “The NTPC Group needs to focus on integrated and smart solutions to manage a carbon-neutral economy. I am confident that NTPC will be able to successfully implement and commercialise the technology which will benefit farmers, the environment as well as the society”.   Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD NTPC Ltd, said “Power plants are the biggest consumers of coal. Typically a 1000 MW plant consumes about 5 million tonnes of coal annually. India's total coal-based power generation capacity is about 2 lakh MW, which theoretically can consume approximately 1000 million tonnes of coal annually. Even 10% of that, if replaced with green charcoal will amount to 100 million tonnes of this fuel which will require approximately 160 million tonne of agro residue and municipal waste (considering 60% yield), sufficient to wipe out the entire unused agro residue in the country thus eliminating the farm fires and produce approx. 20,000 MW of renewable power and generating a revenue worth 50,000 crore per year”.   The hackathon was inaugurated by Shri R. K. Singh, Hon’ble Minister (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy in the august presence of Shri Ashish Upadhyay, Additional Secretary of Power, Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD NTPC Ltd and other senior officials from Power Ministry, NTPC ltd and EESL ltd. The increasing air pollution due to the burning of stubble and agro residue by local farmers has become a major concern for the country. As a result, NVVN is looking for technologies to convert the agricultural waste to a form that can be used in the power plants in form of the Green Charcoal Hackathon. One such option is torrefaction which converts the agro residue to green charcoal.   The technology to produce torrefied fuel using agro residue biomass is not easily accessible to small entrepreneurs due to the higher cost of imported machines, lack of sufficient manufacturers. The technology to produce torrefied fuel using agro residue biomass once developed in India will be made accessible to small entrepreneurs.   To encourage the participants, there was a provision for cash prizes worth up to INR 24 Lakhs* in three Categories, namely: a)      Category – I, Technology for Production of 100 kg per day of Torrefied Biomass Pellets b)      Category – II, Technology for Production of 1000 kg per day of Torrefied Biomass Pellets c)       Category – III, Technology for Production of 10 Tonnes per day of Torrefied Biomass Pellets

HP introduces esports scholarship at OMEN FanFest 2020

    HP India today announced the inaugural ‘esports Gold Quest’ scholarships at the OMEN FanFest 2020, in support of the rise of PC Gaming culture in India. The ‘esports Gold Quest” scholarship is a program that will provide gamers with the necessary financial support, equipment, skills, and exposure to help them in their quest to compete on the global stage and become future esports stars.   With esports becoming a global phenomenon, HP recognizes the need to provide Indian talent with the right set of tools and guidance to compete at the world stage and bring the country its recognition in esports. The esports Gold Quest scholarships will select three applicants and will offer them an annual scholarship worth Rs 12 lacs each, which will include a full esports kit from OMEN, a monthly salary of 50k and an international training stint.   The scholarship will be open to Indian applicants in the 16 – 20-year age group.   Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, launched an interactive Instagram filter for fans to experience its latest luxury all-rounder– the Audi Q2 which debuted in India in October 2020.   Sporting a bold design, 190hp, 2.0 LTFSI engine, progressive steering and quattro, the Audi Q2 seamlessly combines exemplary functionality with luxury appeal. Making it perfectly suited for  everyday driving and a capable companion on adventure trips.   Inspired by these power packed features, the idea was to use creativity to bring out the ease of the actual experience of driving the Audi Q2. Conceptualised by BBH India and executed by tech firm Alive now, the AR filter offers an immersive gamified experience of driving this machine to tech-savvy target audiences.   One can access the filter by tapping on the story section of Instagram on their phones and searching for the Audi Q2 City Run filter. Once it loads, the filter allows the user to select between three cities – Mumbai, Delhi & Bengaluru, where they want to drive their Audi Q2 in. Each city is brought alive with illustrations of key landmarks and obstacles making the experience highly personal & localised. The user can tap to start and the car moves forward along the road, the player has to dodge these obstacles by simply tilting their head left or right – thereby making the car move in the same direction. As the game progresses, the car can also start moving faster to make it a bit more challenging. The game calculates the distance the user has driven in the Audi Q2 whilst successfully dodging the different obstacles on their path.
