Voot Select is set to enthrall its users with the new spine-chilling thriller series ‘CANDY’.  Directed by Ashish R. Shukla, Voot Select’s latest offering CANDY, a highly anticipated murder mystery starring Richa Chadha and Ronit Roy is ready to keep you on the edge of your seats starting September 8th, 2021.

Set against a picturesque backdrop of a boarding school in the mountains, CANDY revolves around drugs, politics, ambition, a gory murder, and a series of secrets wrapped around a ‘CANDY’.  In the mists of Rudrakund, the gruesome murder of a school student pushes troubled teacher Jayant Parekh (Ronit Roy) and local cop Ratna Sankhawar (Richa Chadha) to unravel a web of disturbing secrets that involve rave parties in the hills, cold cases from the past, malevolent demons in the woods and a hallucinogen smuggled under the garb of Candy. While one section of the society is petrified about the mystery killings and the rumors revolving around an evil force, the others try and solve the mystery behind the drug infused candy sold to school kids. With infinite twists and turns, CANDY is a thrilling journey through the world of dark secrets where sins dwell.

    Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited,  Indian cement major and a subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited, announced the commencement of commercial production of Line 2, having a capacity of 2.25 Million Tonnes at its Kapilas Cement Manufacturing Works (KCMW) Unit near Cuttack, Odisha. With this addition, the company’s overall capacity at the plant has now gone up to 3.95 million tons per annum. This development is in line with the company’s commitment towards fostering sustainable growth while also creating job opportunities in the region. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mahendra Singhi, MD & CEO, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd. said, “We are happy to announce that DCBL has commenced commercial production of Line 2 at our KCW plant. With this, we are a step closer to our goal of taking our capacity from 30.75 million tonnes to 48.5 million tonnes by FY24. Odisha is an important market for us and the commercial production will enable us to cater to the demand for cement from both rural and urban centers in the region.”   Keeping in mind our philosophy of ‘Clean and Green is sustainable’, we have deployed the latest machinery and technology at the KCMW unit and will be aiming to produce 100% blended cement. This step is also in line with our commitment to become carbon negative by 2040.” He added   Mr. Ram Awtar Sharma, Unit Head, KCMW, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) limited said, “We are grateful to the Government of Odisha and people of Biswali, Cuttack for their continuous support and letting us be a part of the state’s growth story. PayPal commits to rural development and sustainability with the launch of PayPal Dharma- a virtual forest project

       PayPal,  has collaborated with SankalpTaru Foundation to launch project PayPal Dharma- planting trees for an inclusive climate future. Through this partnership, the company will plant over 5000 trees of native and fruit-bearing species in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, and West Bengal.      Starting 2022, PayPal will also plant a tree for each employee’s work anniversary. The initiative is aimed at lending support to local farming communities through a rural livelihood model. It will also bolster PayPal’s desire to support an inclusive climate transition in India and improve the socio-economic conditions of the communities where it operates.   As part of the rural livelihood model, this project will enable a sustainable stream of income for the farmers by planting trees that will provide a variety of fruit, medicine, and shade.   Further mitigating the threat of COVID-19 while extending support to local communities, Honda India Foundation (the CSR arm of all Honda group companies in India) organised a 2-day Health Check-up Camp and Community Vaccination drive at Covid Isolation Centre, Naurangpur, Gurugram (Haryana). Earlier during the 2nd wave of Covid, Honda India Foundation set up, temporary COVID Care centers in Haryana and Rajasthan.
